I witnessed the first official flight of SpaceShip One going for the Ansari XPrize; for the first privately funded space flight. I flew with my boss on his King Air and we landed at Mojave Desert Airport and watched White Knight carrying SS1 take off and land. I was reminded of the first shuttle launch.
